TDTC members are a diverse group of individuals with the primary goal of sharing their knowledge regarding companion dog events, mainly obedience and agility. Our canine members range from purebred show dogs to mixed-breed shelter and rescued dogs. The interests of the club members range from competitive obedience and agility training to Paw Pals therapy visits.

Yearly membership fees are due in January of each year. Members are welcome to join at any time during the year and are pro-rated in during the summer and fall sessions.

How do I become a TDTC member?

Associate Membership

Any one who successfully complete a class with TDTC, beginner level or higher (puppy classes do not count) are eligible for Associate Membership. Persons under the age of nineteen (19) must have their parent or guardians become apply for Associate Membership.

Associate members are able to enroll in future training courses at a reduced rate of $65 USD. As an associate member you may also serve on committees and volunteer to help with events and trials to help further the club objectives.

All members receive our bi-monthly newsletter, Paw Prints, to stay abreast of club activities and events.

TDTC members are also welcome to enjoy a variety of events including our summer picnic, annual Christmas party and yearly awards banquet.

Regular Membership

Once an Associate Member attends three (3) General Club Meetings they can qualify for regular membership.

Meetings are held on the second Friday of every other month at 7pm. The first meeting of the year is held in January.

An attendance roster is maintained by the membership, so it is important to sign in at each meeting to track the number of meetings that have been attended. Once you have attended the three required meetings, you may apply for Regular Membership by completing the application and returning it to the Membership Chairman. The application will be voted on by the Regular Membership at the following general meeting.

Regular Members may serve on the Board of Directors and apply for privileges such as building keys and crate space at the club.
